I am conducting some research about venture capital backed companies that were acquired by public companies. Specifically I am gathering data to determine if companies start out as LLC's and then convert to C-corporation. I am interested in determining at what stage of growth do most companies get acquired. I am investigating the following company below and want to find the following information (items 1-14). River Delta Networks 1. Who they were acquired by 2. Deal type (cash or stock) 3. Deal size (dollar value) 4. Primary Venture Capital firm involved 5. The Year the company was founded a. Was it founded as an LLC or C-corp? b. Location of company at founding 6. » What would religion say in regards to booting parents out of your life?
If you have to 'boot' a parent out of your life as a result of them being negative and unable to handle themselves (let alone other people), what would most organized religions say about this? Honor thy father/mother is the general rule but what if you can't honor them based on their actions and disownment is the necessary recourse?Honor your father & mother OK. We have that situation in our family, slightly different, but similar. Put space between you. What you think, do or say let it fit this criteria: 1. Is it true? 2. Is it kind? 3. Is it necessary? In our case, puting space there was necessary and we put it there truthfully and kindly. That's what honor is about, not making like nothing is or was w...... - 2009-07-02

The average ratio from several studies are that 9.55 percent of men are homosexual and 4.72 percent of women are homosexual. In 1995, a survey (The prevalence of homosexual behavior and attraction in the United States, the United Kingdom and France: Results of national population-based samples - Sell, Wells, and Wypij) reported 6.2, 4.5, and 10.7 percent of males and 3.6, 2.1, and 3.3 percent of females in the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, respectively, report having had sexual contact with someone of the same sex in the previous 5 years. » Paypal: how to close disputes where services are offered?
i sell virtual goods, that means they are not tangible goods, and i hear Paypal does not side with the buyer on these items, and when I request invoice, i select "SERVICES/OTHER" and not "GOODS", so when a buyer does open up a dispute, for SCAMMING reasons, do I have to reply to dispute or will I win it automatically since no address was shipped to, or if i do reply to it, what do i say? thanks asking for anyone with experience, because it seems paypal ALWAYS side with buyer no matter what You need evident proof that you sold them the virtual account, besides selling it on ebay which would provide this proof other then that its near impossible to find proof... » Old video
Several years ago I rented a VHS video from Blockbuster called "Confession of an Assasin". This was a non-fiction interview with a mafia hitman who was in jail for life (w/np parole) for shooting a police officer. He carefully explained how he was recruited for the Kennedy assasination by the Chicago mafia and his role at the grassy knoll. This video appears to have disappeared from Blockbuster and "fallen off the end of the Earth". In addition, I've also been advised that PBS recently did a documentary on the JFK murder that implicated the mafia. I'd really like to obtain a copy of the interview video to see how it may corroborate the PBS documnetary. The question is: Where can I purchase a copy of the video "Confes...... - 2009-07-02

» Any idea what my STARTING credit score will be with only 1 credit account good standing, nothing else at all?
I haven't had my card for 6 months yet but my report just updated and there's never been any negatives and the inquiries aren't on it no more. Im looking for a ballpark estimate or something cuz im very, very curious about it.If you pay in full each month, I don't see why you would not have the highest score posible in just 6 months. If you carry balances your credit will get all messed up, since paying the minimum and carrying balances reduces your credit worthiness. /If you haven't had that only credit card account for at least 6 months, you don't have a score. » DP1550 Pulley alignment problem
I pulled the trigger on a Ridgid DP. It seems I am the latest to be hit by the problem Ridgid is having with the pulleys on the DP1550. I did a search of the archieves a got tons of hits, but not any with solutions. Many of the issue I read people had were due to the idler pulley being low. Well I have the opposite problem. On mine the idler pulley is too high. It is about 1/8 higher than the spindle pulley and about 3/16 higher than the motor pulley. Though I have not tried yet, I can try to raise the moter pulley in line with the Idler puller (th manual covers this adjustment), but then I will still need to raise the spindle pulley. I don't see any way to move the spindle pulley up though and no mention in the manual for adjusting the s...... - 2009-07-02

But the speech problem you describe could be a form of something called "aphasia". I think it's called paraphasia or something like that if you want to research it on the internet. » Have you ever....>->;; ;)?
Keep reading anyways at the very bottom is my question. Hi, I'm Michael. I'm 17 and currently living in Washington. I recently thought up a plan to do what needs to be done. Soon I'll be getting a job and with my money I'm planning to make a catalog of trees that will grow in the area and then go door to door offering to plant the trees the owner of the property selects free of charge and that the only thing I ask is that they will grow them. Along with asking them if they would like to have planted I will also request that they tell there friends so that the word will spread of my plan. Now I know that going door to door isn't safe but it doesn't really matter. The reason I think this is a good idea is ...... - 2009-07-02
» Ovulation predictor? HOW DO YOU USE ONE?
And can you use them during your period?I have the electronic one from Clear Blue Easy. You buy the test strips seperate. You basically turn the device on on Day 1 which is the first day of your period. Every day, you turn it on again and look at the screen. It will give you a picture of a test strip when it wants you to pee on a stick. You pee on the stick in the morning (first pee) and then pop the stick into the machine. the machine reads your hormones and tells you if you are at low, medium or high fertility..or if you are ovulating. You continue to turn the device on every morning before you pee...and pee on a stick if it tells you to. Close to your ovulation you'll be asked to pee on a stick every day. » How to make a worm farm.?
So, I've collected a few worms in a pot along with the soil I found them around. What should I do to keep them alive and happy? I placed old fruit in there. And I assume there are some dead bugs in their for them to feed on too. Should I change soil regularly.. water the soil regularly.. keep in cool area..A library is a good place to find a lot of information about worm farming. DIY can be done as well, you need a temperature controlled room, a 4x8 sheet of plywood, 2x4's for edging and screws. The tools will be a saw and drill. You need to cut your 2x4's to fit around your plywood and you need to drill various holes in the plywood for drainage. Now fill your plywood box with a good soil mix and keep it damp BUT NOT soaked. ...... - 2009-07-02

When you buy a domain at any registrar like Yahoo Small Business or Godaddy, you usually get only one email account. Some provide 2 or 3 depending upon the price. If you want to get more than that you will have to buy them. Now, one email account is too less. You might want to have addresses like support@yourdomain.com, or sales@yourdomain.com or anything@yourdomain.com simultaneously. But that can't happen when your mail is stuck with your domain provider. Now I will show you how to break free and create up to 100 email accounts at your own domain for absolutely free. » Kevin Boss or Jason Witten?
Jason Witten against a stout Pittsburgh defense or Kevin Boss against a Philly D that tends to forget that TEs can catch passes too.Only three teams - Chargers, Jets, Broncos - give up more points to TEs than the Eagles. The Steelers are one of the better Ds against TEs (#11: 30 yds/g; 4TDs). However, this is somewhat misleading since there isn't a huge difference between the two. Both have allowed 4 TDs and the difference in yardage is about 29 yds/g on average. In this case, I'd go with the better TE - Witten. Hope your opponent doesn't have Gonzalez this week - he's playing the Broncos. That's tough because both are going to be receiving those dump passes from their QBs because of the pass rush of both the Ea...... - 2009-07-02

» What do call a coin collector??
You are right a lot of coin collectors take a title they do not deserve as well as coin investors. Seems all I have to do is sell a few coins to different people and now I can say I am a professional numismatist. Well as far as I am concerned I am not. I am however a numismatist for my library proves that. I guess you can say a person is a numismatist when the books he has is valued at near what his coins are worth except for the rare coins of course. I will add to your definition a little, a numismatist when he has a coin in hand also wonders who had it and where was it all these years. I have a Fugio cent and often wonder if Ben Franklin or some of the forefathers had it in their hands. Was that 1943 zinc coated steel cent in the pay enve...... - 2009-07-02
» Helping boost your World Cup Winner/Runner up bets
One thing I started doing in the summer of '04 has been tying in random games to boost the odds. I bet a lot on the Copa America and did quite well with it, and tied the bets into Brazil winning the World Cup. So I tended to double the odds from 4 or 5-1, to 10-1 in games I layed money on. I do the same with NFL games, which I'm best at, betting spread, and moneyline results, and tying them to my favorites to win it all. It usually doubles or triples your odds pay out, and can put you in a great position come next summer. For those of you that bet on sites that allow for these kind of parlays I'd suggest it. A simple $1 bet on say, the Redskins outscoring the niners a few weeks ago in the second half, tied to Italy winning it all, lifted th...... - 2009-07-02

because we are going together over boundries in marriage more so today than ever before. and there are so many varieties of mixed races, its hard to classify now.. Your mother might be half chinese/african.. you dad might be half aborigini/ irish... understand? how on earth would you classify yourself in those circumstances? Because more and more people are discovering that there's no such thing as "race" and any such "classifications" are purely superficial. I think it's ridiculous that we still feel that as humans, we should be separated into "sub-races." It's 2008, people. People are becoming obsessed with being politically correct. But this picture shows almost uniform distribution of that light in every direction from Earth. How could that be, if at any one time, the origin or center of the universe - the source of this WMAP light - is only on one side of the Earth? » Recovering a partially-failed HDD
My 13-month old Fujitsu N5050 Lifebook had a Toshiba 60 GB HDD. After getting several SMART warnings on boot-up that the HDD was about to fail, I bought a Hammer Backup storage system w/Hitachi HDD that uses Dantz "One-Button" Retrospective s/w. Backed up the Toshiba HDD then the Toshiba HDD failed and the notebook wouldn't boot. Removed the Toshiba HDD from the notebook and replaced it with the Hitachi HDD from the Hammer and got going again with reloading the XP Pro OS and several other s/w. (There were probably easier ways to recover but it worked for me). Put the "damaged" Toshiba HDD into a Hotdrive connected to my notebook. I can see all the files and folders w/Stellar Phoenix s/w so no data has been lost and all the ...... - 2009-07-02
» An actress as a child...want to get back into acting HOW!?
My mom put me into acting when I was 2ish and I got my first commercial (with Huggies pull-ups) when I was 2 and a half. From then on I went to a bunch of other auditions and did quite a few commercials and even got some small parts in a couple movies. However, I stopped going to auditions when I was 12 or so because I became very self conscious due to my looks. I was a very awkward tween. I was very shy and going to auditions didn't feel natural anymore. I would get a sore stomach before auditions and before the actual filming of commercials. I'm 17 now, and my awkward years are over. I've turned over a new leaf and my ugly duckling faze is over. I'm now a swan! :P Anyway, that's not important. I'm still a bit...... - 2009-07-02
» A question about society!?
why when someone famous gets killed its called assasination but when someone of the everyday life gets killed its just called murder? why should they get a big fancy word when we are the ones paying for everything they have? why should they get a big fancy word just because the make 3 or 4 times the amount we do? ITS NOT FAIIRRRR!!Did you get that from the Lil Wayne song? lol It's really not fair, but that's life, just like when a celebrity dies its on TV for months, (remember Anna Nicole Smith?) whereas a regular everyday person, if it even makes national news, will only make headlines for about a day, then everyone moves on. Just the way life is.An assassination is when someone murders a public official for political reason...... - 2009-07-02

I smoke weed, it use to only be occasionally but lately it's been a lot more often. Usually everyday or more than a couple times a day. My best friend doesn't like it so i just tried to not talk about it or do it around her. Recently she found out about all of my drug use. She is very mad about that and some other things (that i take her for granted). I don't want to quit smoking but i don't want to loose her! what should i do??? ahh, thats is interesting. i've been in your situation. and all i can really say is that you two are totally different people. » What car to buy? - Approx £350 a month?
Assuming my company doesn't go bust in the next few weeks, I could be getting a company car allowance. This, after tax, would probably work out about £275 a month. I am happy to top this up to about £350 using my own money. Now I am not in the position to lay down a deposit due to recently buying a house and getting married, so would be looking to take out finance with the dealer for up to 5 years. My company mileage will not be very high compared to a lot of people, probably no more than 1000 a month, so comfort isn't a huge priority. However I would need a car with a reasonable amount of space (to carry computer equipment about) and have 5 seats that could be used. I also have a dog that I will take about in the car when...... - 2009-07-02

The general partners purchase sales contracts on 5-8 properties. 18 months later they sell the sales contracts before settlement and close out the partnership. » Catholics on Y!A, do you believe that the Earth stand stills while the Sun, moon, and stars revolve around it?
I was shocked to read certain opinions expressed on this Catholic thread: http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.... and thought I might take a quick poll of Catholics here on Y!A. Do you accept that the Earth orbits the Sun and not the other way around, or do you believe geocentrism is an infallible dogma and so must be believed regardless of scientific consensus?I don't actually believe they are rotating around the Earth so much as they are rotating around Me...... Seriously, I've never heard of that. » Is there an age limit on this fashion trend?
my BF is having a semi dressy party at the start of the year and i want to wear this black cocktail type tea length dress. because it will be cold i want to pair it with either a fishnet stocking or printed opaque tights. not printed like in a color but a design on the material. the problem is im in my late 20's and i feel this might be a bit of a young look for me. im pretty fashion forward and savvy so i don't want to make this faux pas. a lot of the younger girls wear them and while everyone constantly mistakes me for 21 or 22, i don't want to be the old chick who is trying to dress young. so can i get away with this? if not what else do you suggest?I don't think it would be too young looking as long as the tights are...... - 2009-07-02

» Windows Script Needed
I need a script that converts the information provided (given) to a host via a DHCP server, into "static". I need to have all the options passed from the DHCP server (IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, WINS servers, etc.) to be set statically on the host. When I initially build a new Windows host it receives all the DHCP info. One of the build steps stipulates taking the IP address and other DHCP options and making them static via the TCP/IP Properties page. I would like the script to preferrably work on Windows 2000 & 2003, but would settle for 2003 only.I think the better answer would be to tell your DHCP server to treat the MAC address of the PC's NIC as static rather than telling the PC to hold the information.
Credit card accounts don't count in your score calculation till they are at least 6 months old. If you have been using that credit card a...... - 2009-07-02

I've had that problem for many years. Sometimes it's because you think faster than you can talk. Sometimes it's because you are bi-lingual and your brain is having difficulty switching back and forth between the 2 languages. That woul...... - 2009-07-02
» Have you ever....>->;; ;)?

» How to get 100 email accounts at your domain for free
When you buy a domain at any registrar like Yahoo Small Business or Godaddy, you usually get only one email account. Some provide 2 or 3 depending upon the price. If you want to get more than that you will have to buy them. Now, one email account is too less. You might want to have addresses like support@yourdomain.com, or sales@yourdomain.com or anything@yourdomain.com simultaneously. But that can't happen when your mail is stuck with your domain provider. Now I will show you how to break free and create up to 100 email accounts at your own domain for absolutely free. All you need is a domain name and the ability to modify DNS records. We will use Google Apps for doing this. Go to Google Apps (https://www.google.com/a/) and click on ...... - 2009-07-02

» Why is it becoming more and more difficult to formally and informally classify people by race?
because we are going together over boundries in marriage more so today than ever before. and there are so many varieties of mixed races, its hard to classify now.. I didn't think much of it, until I met the girl as I climbed the stairs, and I realized she was really mad. "Where the *Expletive* were you?" she yelled at me.

» I'm losing my friends because i do drugs...?
I smoke weed, it use to only be occasionally but lately it's been a lot more often. Usually everyday or more than a couple times a day. My best friend doesn't like it so i just tried to not talk about it or do it around her. Recently she found out about all of my drug use. She is very mad about that and some other things (that i take her for granted). I don't want to quit smoking but i don't want to loose her! what should i do??? ahh, thats is interesting. i've been in your situation. and all i can really say is that you two are totally different people. I myself smoke weed and lately, now that some of my friends found out, they treat me different. Not everyone likes the idea. Try talking to her about it. to be hone...... - 2009-07-02
» Video card uprade for warcraft?
I have an older custom built computer. Ive checked the blizzard support page and my computer is within the minimum requirements except for my video card. My computers has a foxconn mother board with a maximum upgrade of 1G and I have a P4 processor. I have 512 MB of memory upgradable to 1G. The video card I have is a GeforceFX5200 which I want to replace. I have been looking into it and could use suggestions. I looked into the GeforceMX400 which is supported by blizzard, and has transform and lightning. I looked into the Geforce7200GS, but it does not say that is has transform and lightning. But it is supposed to be supported by blizzard, in the 7000 series. Could some one please explain and maybe help with suggestion on a card that is comp...... - 2009-07-02
» Real estate investors
Where can I find the names, phone numbers and addresses of people who like to invest in real estate? What great ideas! Thank you everyone. I am selling preconstruction waterfront properties in Florida in the form of LLLP (Limited liability limited partnership) Each partnership which closes at $500,000 leverages at $2,125,000. The general partners purchase sales contracts on 5-8 properties. 18 months later they sell the sales contracts before settlement and close out the partnership. Investors have recieved back anywhere between 45% to 300%! A lot better than my IRA which only gave me 4%! The partnerships are IRA qualified. I hope that answers your question in better detail. Thanks for responding. For example, by writing a shor...... - 2009-07-02
I guess one wouldn't be game to mention evolution around them.Of course we do and I not only learned that in a Catholic school but taught that in a Catholic school. Further, the Pope has never declared such nonse...... - 2009-07-02

Normally though it took about 2-3 weeks.any day now, my youngest didn't get teeth until he was 11mths old,but when they came through -they really came through..and when this one comes in expect the others right behind it....... - 2009-07-02

» U.S. Magazine Market (print magazines only)
I'm looking for reliable, up-to-date (i.e. prepared within the last 18 months) data on the U.S. magazine market. In particular, I'm looking for how the industry has trended over time in terms of total revenues, preferably broken down by genre, and how it is expected to grow going forward.Just wanted to add that I've already looked through the information provided on the Magazine Publishers of America website (www.magazine.org) and the Audit Bureau (www.accessabc.com). What I'm still looking for are detailed projections (i.e. projected growth in revenues and/or # advertising pages, as well as supporting discussion and analysis). Thanks!...... - 2009-07-02

I have a TS2400 10" Contractors Table Saw that was given to me from a friend that passed away (His wife actually gave it to me) and I have used the tool for about a year and the motor burned up in the tool. A friend of mine can get it rewound were he works (they build prototype motors) but he needs some information about the armature and field (wire size, no. of windings, etc).
I have a harddrive jukebox made by Perception Digital ( Model No PD-430-01) which uses a standard Matrox hardrive which can be removed and attached to my PC. I want to transfer all of the tracks on the hard drive (which took months to load on) to make a back up copy on my PC. I have contacted perception digital and they have told me only they can back up the drive and I will have to upgrade to a newer version of the Jukebox. I have told them I can purchase the jukebox cheaper here (UK) than what they are offering (USA), but they will not play ball. » purchase decision
Warm greetings all, I am a p&s'r looking to graduate to DLSR. I have approx $3500 Canadian Dollars budgeted for my initial purchase. I have a lot to learn and at this point am just trying to make as good a decision as possible for my initial purchase. Right now my short list consists of: Canon 20D Nikon D50 Nikon D70s Don't worry, I'm not going to ask which is the better camera, I've read enough to realize this is not a good question. I would like to hear from the people that use these cameras though: fav feature, weakest part of the cam, etc. I primarily take outdoor and nature shots, and a fair amount of indoor "portrait" style shots. So far I've decided to go with a "body only" purchase, and then try to go for the best glass I...... - 2009-07-02

I was ripping a thick piece of oak. The blade stopped turning, the motor was still making noise, 2 seconds later I turned off the saw. I removed the wood and switched the power on the saw back on and nothing happened. The reset switch on the motor did not go off. Anybody have a clue what is wrong? I am using the saw on a 110v 15 amp circuit. The circuit and outlet are both working.Rafael, did you unplug the saw and see if you could move the blade by hand? The blade can be moved by hand.If you are electrically inclined, I would remove the back cover from the motor and check voltage at the wires at the motor. It is possible that the wires going from the switch to the motor could be bad. Also, there are thermal overloads sometimes that will not...... - 2009-07-02

And i used somekind of slave flash, which was placed at the right side, but lower then the umbrella. Also used my on-camera flash, cause i need that to trigger the other lights. Have to buy a cord or something for that. Turned down the power of the on-camera flash a bit (i hope you know what i mean, the flash isnt as harsh then) I also have a softbox (huge one) but i didnt have room to set it up :er: I did have a lightmeter, but i was confused on how to use it, so it was just trial and...... - 2009-07-02
