If you needed to have a mammogram (breast examination) would it bother you if it was undertaken by a male healthcare professional?
If you could expand on your answer other than just yes/no then it has more chance of getting 10 points!It wouldn't bother me as long as they were professional about it.
I would hate it if they made me feel uncomfortable in any way but there's no difference really they're both there to do the same job.

XXXyes it proberbly would, dont know why but its like when you have a smear test you feel more relaxed if its a female doing it............mmm ive made that sound a bit weird but i know what i mean lol,I would not have a problem if the professional happened to be male. He is a qualified professional and I believe he will handle the situation in a professional manner.i would be a little shy but you have to just bite the bullet and remind yourself that it is this or your health.
I got examined by my doctor who was really kind to me and helped me get a BA on the NHS but when it came to the point of examining me himself he explained that he had to have a female chaperone present, which made me feel more comfortable Mine was recently done by a man - although I think he was gay! But it didn't matter - it was done in a thoroughly professional way - a touch uncomfortable but not painful. Good luck.i dont think it would matter to me. I would go to the best/ highest recommended dr. wether female or male. As long as they know what they are doing and they stick to that and not do anything they arent siupposed to whats the difference? right? male answer ,you can ask for a female to carry it out if you want its like an xray you stand behind a monitor open your gown when asked and a picture is taken the operator is standing well away from you in a little room to the side you close your gown after come out from behind the monitor and its over the operator only sees the mammogram view not a page 3 view It's not like he is going to rape you...but a dog mightNo, they're professtionals, fully trained, and they're just doing their job. They probably undertake things like this many times a day, and there's nothing pervy / sexual / whatever else about it. But if you're uncomfortable with it you should be able to request to be seen by a female.No probs with a professional male touching my breasts. Personally, I wouldn't mind if the professional was a gay man, but I would definitely not want a straight one touching my breasts even if it's fully professional.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
