Firefox table align problem

  • I'm trying to valign a table to the top of a page. Here's the code I used:

    lalalalala

It works fine in IE, but it Firefox, the darn thing refuses to valign to the top. For some reason, it's centered. I uploaded the page here: http://www.monetrox.com/scar/ If you try it in IE, that's how I want it to be. Firefox screws it up...

The page in question is in an iframe. I don't know if that would cause a problem or not... hehe Please help.. This thing is driving me crazy..

  • hehe Yeah, I was afraid I'd have to learn CSS for this... Does anyone know of a good site/program to learn CSS?

  • valign is not a valid attribute of the table tag, align is deprecated in HTML 4.01 and not supported for XHTML 1.0 Strict DTD.

IE uses its own set of made up rules, whereas FF stays strictly by the rules laid out for how HTML should work. I recommend using CSS to get the look you want. You may have to learn a little more but CSS is all about getting the look you want and how you want the page to display.
