One thing I started doing in the summer of '04 has been tying in random games to boost the odds. I bet a lot on the Copa America and did quite well with it, and tied the bets into Brazil winning the World Cup. So I tended to double the odds from 4 or 5-1, to 10-1 in games I layed money on. I do the same with NFL games, which I'm best at, betting spread, and moneyline results, and tying them to my favorites to win it all. It usually doubles or triples your odds pay out, and can put you in a great position come next summer. For those of you that bet on sites that allow for these kind of parlays I'd suggest it. A simple $1 bet on say, the Redskins outscoring the niners a few weeks ago in the second half, tied to Italy winning it all, lifted the pay out from 11-1, to 22-1.
