OH NO! MAJOR EMERGENCY!

Please tell me there is a way to fix this. Today during my photoshoot I switched from my 50mm 1.8 Nikon lens to the stock lens to get a wider shot.

BUT when i went to switch back.... something happened. The 50mm lens wont work! The display on the camera says EE....

HELP? :(

EDIT: Emergency over... seems somehow it was just out of whack. Afer I put it on I mustve bumped the aperture setting off

Rofl! Yeah thats something that happened to me.

Aperture is controled by the camera... setting the lens aperture at anything but it's highest numerical value will result in the dreaded (not really) EE error.

It will do the same thing with any and all lenses that you purchase that have an aperture ring.

Good news is, you don't have an emergency, major or otherwise.

Reset the aperture ring on your lens to F/22 this will solve your problem. Since your aperture is controlled by the body it needs to be on this setting to be able to control the aperture. Also there should be a little lock next to the aperture ring so it will not move when set at F/22 so this wont happen again.
