And can you use them during your period?no, why would u use it on your period? They're expensive and it's a waste of money. If you've never used them, and don't know when u ovulate, buy two boxes, then start using them everyday on day 8 of your cycle. (first day of your period is day one) use them until you get two similar lines, they should be pretty identical in color, that will mean it's positive. when you see that you should have sex for the next three days. It's easy to use.I have the electronic one from Clear Blue Easy. You buy the test strips seperate. You basically turn the device on on Day 1 which is the first day of your period. Every day, you turn it on again and look at the screen. It will give you a picture of a test strip when it wants you to pee on a stick. You pee on the stick in the morning (first pee) and then pop the stick into the machine. the machine reads your hormones and tells you if you are at low, medium or high fertility..or if you are ovulating.
You continue to turn the device on every morning before you pee...and pee on a stick if it tells you to. Close to your ovulation you'll be asked to pee on a stick every day. A few days after your ovulation (when your fertility has gone down to low..it will stop asking you to pee on the stick.)
Once your period starts again..you reset the device to Day 1. It will ask you to pee on a stick probably 5 days later. (most likely by then your period has stopped)
