You might try writing out test equations using different colored pens on different colors of paper, a different color for each different math operation or variable.....
You could make an audio recording of the material and listen to it while you take a walk or take a bath, if you can make your recording a rap or rhyme you can even dance to it!
And there is always the old standby.....use grapes or m&m's to work the problems, then eat up the answers.....
